Are We Having Fun Yet?

Having fun is not something I reserve for special times. I try to have fun as often as I can. It can be fun to work, to worship, to spend time with my family, to study, to write, to read, to watch TV, to run errands, to talk on the phone, to clean, to play, to drive, to sing, to laugh, to be quiet and listen, to learn, to share, to run, to walk, to jump, to stand, to live! Fun is an attitude.

My attitude determines how much fun I can have. If I want to think negatively, I get depressed and even golfing isn’t any fun. But if I think positively, almost anything can be fun.

Maybe I do it too much sometimes, but I like to make jokes and look at things in humorous ways. My wife says I entertain myself. Why not? I know better what is fun and entertaining to me than anyone else does. I just have to be careful not to annoy others. That’s not fun.

So what are you going to do after you read this article? See if you can do it and still have some fun. Fun always makes for better living!
